My 79 GL1000 has no 4 way flashers, seems it never did. It has signal lights, but I want to put in flashers. The traffic in Corpus Christi is nuts, need to be safe! What is the best way to do this, I think a flash unit and switch, but not sure how to make it work.

Could probably put a switched jumper between left and right signal wires. switch on and either signal position all should flash.

That might work well, simple idea. I was way over-thinking it with flasher and diodes possibly. Always miss the simple stuff..... Thank you!

Wow is he a talker or what!?
Yeah just jump to page 7 :lazy:

Seems simple to me. Wire from fuse block to switch, to three pole flasher unit one side out to front and rear left. The other out to front & rear right. The front may require a wire tap in but the rear should have vacant spot on connector
