i have 1200 heads also brian im sure i have a nice head i just dont use them ...in my builds ..im sure we can work something out ..if thats the way you want to go

Joe, I figured you might have some leftover 1200 heads from all your Hooch and JYD projects. I would appreciate if you would take a look.

Not sure on 1200, but the others were interchangeable side-to-side, just had to swap cams.
Eric, I think you are right. Just went out and checked. If the head is on the left side then this is on the front of the head;
So the inner timing belt cover bolts on via the bolt hole I am pointing to.
If that same head was put on the right side you would have this arrangement at the front;
So that inner belt cover (which is different) will bolt on.

That was the only thing that I was thinking was different between the two heads.
