1500 should have a dipstick already.
Hmmm now there's an idea. I wonder if a meat thermometer could replace the stick part of the dipstick? :read:":2ejck8w0]
I realize I have a dip stick... a chrome one,,, no thanks... I was just wondering about an oil temp gauge... It would be nice...
I would invest in an infrared temp gun if you want to link your water temp gauge to actual temperatures. They are relatively cheap now and you can use them for other diagnosis.":1nwec5qm]
