I came across this tip on the Motorcampers site and thought it was a great idea! We have at least 5 around our back deck and during storm outages, we bring them in and use them for emergency lights. They light up the whole house at night!

Look bright!

Ummm, is that an 1800 in the background? :?

~O~
Most likely an 1800, not my garage. I reposted the pic from another site.

Hmmm....interesting idea. I think that most any outdoor solar light available from the big box stores would work.
Agreed! I got mine from Lowe's for about $3.00 each and with a full day of sun, they stay bright all night right up to morning. Some of them that are not in the direct sun this winter are losing power a littler sooner, but moving them around to get them in the sun helps recharge them fully.
