Still working on the 84 Interstate but couldn't pass this up. Brought it home yesterday. 1990 Aspy w/matching California sidecar. Been sitting for several years. 55,000 miles.

I started out looking for just a sidecar and the owner and I were in negotiation about his when in passing he mentioned he also had the bike with matching paint that he'd let me have for $400 more. He was asking $600 for the sidecar. After seeing pics he sent and checking with the "boss" who surprised me when she talked me into getting both :whistling: I drove the 300 miles towing a trailer and after 1 hour this is what it looked like.

Not a bad deal at all! :clapping:
Does the bike run, or is it just a parts bike?

No battery so can't tell. You know the story..."It ran really good when we parked it". Definitely want to get it running but it'll have to wait a week or two till the 84 interstate is back together and on the road................... See, almost done. :lazy:

I see a lot of
Even if it never runs again I don't think you could find a better piece of lounge room furniture for $1000 :clapping: :clapping:  :smilie_happy:
I know it is a 1500 but the Rats Nest hadn't run for 13years when Steve got it running again. Everytime I ride her it is at 9/10s every where we go and I couldn't be happier :good: :moped: I am sure with some lovin your new rig will be just as good if not better

We're all just funnin' around. I know it was a great buy regardless what it takes to get her up and running. Heck the sidecar is in good shape and worth what I paid. 6 months tops and she'll be on the road.
