time to change out the tires, and last time I had the shop do it (since I had the money then) but now my wallet tells me it is time to do it myself again.

I am having a hard time remembering what all needs to be torqued down when I put the wheel back on, and to what Ft LBS, anyone know?

Bear is an 83' GL1100

Well, found the axel nut is suppose to be to 42 ft lbs, but not finding anything on the the caliper mounting bolts and others

Many moons ago, I was taught that a bolt should be tightened to "hand tight and then a quarter turn". Been doing that for as long as I can remember. (Not on heads though..)

I have a pretty good torque wrench. Someday....I'm gonna have to use it!  :hihihi:

Yep, I had the preproduction experimental 1983 GL 1800 eighteen years before Honda's unveiling.

Ok, snicker, snicker you guys caught my flub.

In my defense my previous Wing was a GL 1800 that I rode and maintained for years.

I of course meant: 1983 GL 1100 specs
