I just got my heads back from the shop, had a leaking head gasket. This may be a stupid question but how do I make sure every thing lines up properly. #1 piston is top dead center, but I can`t get into position to see in the peep hole to see the timing marks. Help please

Thanks Ron

Not sure what you mean about not being able to see the top dead center mark.
Have you taken off the slotted cap right behind carb 4?
You should then be able to see the crank, then by turning the engine with the stator nut or front crank bolt line the crank marks up to T-1.

Once again you guys miss that this is an 1985 LTD!!!!!!!
Fuel injected, No carbs!!!!!
There is no slotted cap to remove for timing marks!!!!
I have this same issue.
I also need to see where the crank is.
Either on T1 or 180 off.
