As long as it isn't more UFOs :whistling:

Relieved to hear Vegas weekend will be around the same temp as where I live..
I was expecting hotter.

... I guess I should mount a cup/bottle holder on my Oldwing so that I can drink while riding.
Or maybe my dirt bike hydration pack will do.

Go with your hydration pack. I have a 2ltr one that fitted under my leather jacket which I filled with ice water and helped keep my core temp down while providing plenty of cool drinking water. Fast food stops where great to top up with plenty of fresh ice and water during our ride last year through plenty of 110f weather.

Must be hard sleeping atm Randy :smilie_happy:

I mounted a drink holder to the fairing where the cb/radio controls normally go and it gets HOT in no time from the engine heat blowing up on it.

I do use it to hold a bottle of water or whatever when parked.

The feeling is a lot like when I was a kid and waiting for a trip to Disneyland. :head bang:

Yeah, I guess hydrapack is safer to ride and easier to drink than a thermos.
Mine is also 2 liter. I tested it and yes, I can wear it under my mesh jacket!

I somehow want to wet my undershirt also for evaporative cooling..

Maybe this HF item will do the trick. :hihihi:

I used one of those when I ran out of fuel to steal some from my brother Kim's RoadKing :smilie_happy:

I prefer my leather jacket in hot conditions as you don't seem to evaporate as much fluid even with the vents open. Kim also had some fancy micro fibre towels that we wet and wrapped around our neck/shoulders and that made a huge difference especially if wet with ice water.
These airhead things work great to keep your head cool.
I did find that I had to remove it a couple of times as it started to be annoying when riding 10hr days and not have it pressing on my forehead ( I don't think it would be a problem if I still had plenty of hair there) :smilie_happy:

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah snap! Crystal has NEVAR looked this nice :lust: . I'd put her up against any other unrestored 21 year old bike with 137K on the clock in the country and she would embarrass it. :cheeky:

No word from George(hope he's okay) and due to a promotion my son in law is likey unable to go so it looks like just my daughter is going to be riding with me, and that just suits me fine.
