This year....it's WESTERN U.S!

The exact location will be updated in this thread, we haven't decided yet on Las Vegas- Nevada area, or Northern Cali.
If you have any ideas for a meet up place for the day, let us know in this thread.

The date looks good for Omega Man and me so anyone that can make it post here!

Yes!
And everyone that makes it can see first hand the mods I've done to my bike and ride it!

You guys will have a great time. Sadly I won't make a west coast meet. Can't wait for the pics and vids though.

Man......that'll be a loooooooong ride for me... I'll hafta think long and hard about that. Gerry? Brian?
I would love to! But I don't think I would be able to get enough time off to do the round trip. :crying:

Very tempting though! I know the bike can do it! (It's me that I am worried about!) :hihihi:

How about Reno, might be able to get some folks out of the Northwest to come. As for me where ever you decide I will definitely try to make it.
Just another thought, find out how many would like to make it then find a spot centrally located.

Las Vegas looks like 28 hours riding time :moped: (each way) for me; that's a LOT of miles, BUT.....it might be a great cross country trip :yahoo:
I'll letcha know, Dan.....

Dan/Omega - any thoughts yet on the venue? Campground or hotel? Just thinking in advance... let us know 'The Grand Design' ......

This meet is far from a Grand Design at this time, Dan and I just started with a date that would keep us out of the Summer heat.

If it is here in Vegas there are lots of hotel/motels, one doesn't need to stay on the strip or even at a gaming property. There is tent camping in Pahrump about 45 min-hour away from the Vegas valley.

We talked about a BBQ at a local park and then maybe a night cruise of the strip after, and there is lots of great riding around here. One can get a 7-day pass for $10 good for all the state park runs here, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire(might be a sepperate charge), Red Rock Canyon, all of which are just minutes from this area.

Anyway this thing is in it's infancy.

We have long time friends in Pahrump, so I'm familiar with that, but is there no camping closer than all the way over the mountain? That'd be a long haul twice a day....
