Just saying hello. Joep is my big brother and he suggested I join to get info on a bike that I inherited from a brother in law. 1983 (we think) Gold Wing 1100 interstate. Been parked for 17 years in a barn and not yet sure what to do with it. Till then I will troll for knowledge.

Welcome from down the road in Altadena! I just restored an '83 that sat outdoors for 20 years - a lot of time, work, and money, but oh so worth it! Keep us posted on the new toy...
 
Welcome to the fun. Sitting that long you'll need to check just about everything. Replace all the fluids belts and hoses.
