Hello to all! Been on some Gold Wing forums for a couple of years and never found this one until today, through a link from one of the other forums. I had a new '87 Interstate, bought in '88. They were making deals because the 1500's had just come out. My wife and I loved it! Unfortunately, after owing it for 6 years, my truck was stolen and the only way to get money for another vehicle was to sell the Wing, sad day! Two years ago, I found my present Wing with 73k on it. I have replaced brake lines with SS, put new timing belts on, and I am now in the middle of doing a Poor Boy Conversion on it (stator died last December). Found a used '87 seat last year, much better that the '86!
