Hi everyone! My name is Thom and I recently took ownership of a 1976 GL1000 as a bit of a project for myself. My objective was to find an older bike that had some character and was different from a lot of the other bikes that I see. I came across the one I now have that had been stored for quite a few years.
Now, I've already started to do some things and make some repairs that will bring it back to life soon. But I'm also looking for like-minded people who have an affinity for these classic bikes. Although I am new to owning one, I'm really looking forward to bringing this old bike of mine back to life. I'll probably have quite a few questions and look forward to your input.

Welcome to our world. Pretty much anything you need or want to do to your project we can help. The biggest headaches it seem are carbs and 30+ year old wiring.
