Repalced the stock blinker relay with the electronic multi-load universal relay from Oreally's, works great! Thought I lost the left signal on the fairing but the pigtail was loose. Reconnected it after cleanup and a coat of di-electric great, and I am good to go.
 
Nothing major......changed out a burnt-out headlight bulb. You think they could have made it a LITTLE easier to get at, instead of burying everything the way they did. But it's done, and works, so I guess I'm not totally incompetent. :smilie_happy:

I was convinced many years ago, that design engineers work very hard to make something as difficult as possible to work on.

We had a saying in the Navy: A Master's Degree to design it, a Bachelor's Degree to fly it, and a High School Diploma to fix it. I guess in today's Navy that might not hold true anymore.

:builder: Fabbed up a rack to mount my cooler on the trailer tongue. worked out pretty good, a trip to Tractor supply for some perforated angle, a few square u bolts and some black spray bomb and an HF ratchet strap!

.KIck stand up in the morning, 300 miles to Sturbridge Mass on the first leg of our journey to to the New England states.

Found a vacuum leak in my setup, and it was in the plywood that I used the first time. I found some furniture grade plywood in the RV we tore down for the new flatbed, so I took a segment, cut it out, sanded it, and painted outside surfaces. Tomorrow I will seal it in Elmers Wood working glue, and let it set after I cut out the 1 and 1/2 inch hole. I have it marked and ready to drill in the morning. The leak was created by krakum as I tried to get carriage bolts to sink deeply into the plywood to protect the seal , and they did not,,,and left a leak at the plenum level. It will be fixed in the morning. I have changed the jetting a little. I backed off from the 105 main to a 95 main in the primary, I am waiting on delivery of a 42 idle and than I will be using the fifty idle jet that is in the current primary set in the idle for the secondary leaning it down slightly. I have a 105 in the secondary, and after 4000 rpm, this bike moves. I did have to pop the top, the primary jet holder did not want to come out, so it took some work. The air jet holding the tubes and mains did not want to come out, they had been tacked in place likely to prevent them fro,m spinning out during operation. I can access and change them now w/out having to pop the top. I am taking joedrums advice and using lag bolts that are self tapping for wood to secure the 2 to 1 adapter to the new plywood. This way by bolt length, only the tip should protrude by 1/8 of inch at the most, and those can be trimmed via dremel to keep the sealing surface flat. Than I line up the bolts for the plenum, and bolt it back down.

I forgot I hung them on the cup holder but depending on the roads the new glasses may not get worn
 
I had set up my Vetter key on an alloy clip that would allow me to separate it from the Honda key easily so that I could open the luggage without removing it from the ignition. I used an alloy clip to reduce the weight on the key and to reduce the amount of damage on the air pressure sticker on the handle bars.
I thought that I had lost the key as the clip sometimes didn't lock the way it should and it wasn't on the ignition key after a ride about 2 months ago. Today while checking over the Rats Nest I found the key sitting between the radiator and the rh timing cover :clapping: :blush:
 
I didn't realise how close the radiator and rh cover are, no wonder you find stuff there..
