today was a awesome day. hardwired the stator by cutting 3 yellow wires and soldering together. also hard wired the starter solenoid. my best friend gave me a good lesson on soldering. thank you frank kucish you are a wizard on these old wings.

yep all corrosion gone.
:good: :clapping:

I know about the 3 yellow wires but any (how to) on the starter thing I could go check out? What does soldering the starter solenoid do?

we were checking all connectons and discovered the wires on the solenoid were in bad shape. the plug with 4 wire was burnt so we put new conectors on soldered new connectors on.

yeah we spent nearly all day thursday just cleaning and checking all connections to prevent trouble down the road. all secure ready to ride
