my niece lisa has an '82 wing with some bad wiring but my actual question is about the rectifier. isthere any difference between rectifiers from '80 to '83? can she use an '80 rectifier on her '82
thanks dan, my friend is working on my nieces '82 and has a rectifier from an '80. I guess the harnesses are different so he wasn't sure if he could use the rectifier":37yo4s2g]
1100 regulator/rectifiers are all the same.
Make sure that your friends unit isn't just a rectifier from an 1000 as they were seperate units not a combined regulator/ rectifier like late GWs. If a new component is required try a Mofset style which are far superior imo. :good:":11p1td0p]
