Ok i can see the 1200 engine block now, where the 4 hose holders from the 1200 heads are on the block.

Switched to GL1100 heads, does it have 1000 cams?

Ok yea,

I saw the 1000 cam gear sticking out of the 1100 head.

yes the early 75-77 371 cams

That 1200 frame does not provide you with a lot of room, around the carb.

But you are almost over the top of the frame from how it looks in the picture.

I short riser plate, may get you above the frame, then you have all the room you need.

I like that threaded rod can be used, to mount the air filter that give you a lot of choices

ok im about to make a big move and try this setup on hooch ...looks like it will go right in and I wont have to change anything g at all .....I got a plan on vw plenum and stuff and will takes some days to get it all together so ...ill take it off and try stock plenum on hooch to what happens ....anyway it kinda of my plan I might not pull the trigger :builder:

Glad you made it here.

One of my conversations with Tom the engineer.

Tom said if your engine starts and runs and you do Not need to choke it, you are Too Rich.

My bike does Not like the Choke to be used at all.

Being in the perfect air/fuel zone can be a wide area.

There is a wide range of perfect mix, 14.7:1, Maybe to lean for me, I want a slightly Richer Power Zone.

So I may not make my Best gas mileage, as i want max. power, I am willing to sacrifice some mileage.

But lets hope Mileage numbers come out to be as good as stock, or better.

I would love to put on a Vacuum gauge on my bike, to show when the air/fuel mixture is best, while riding.

a reminder that there is no room for the auto choke with this option, as far as easy bolt in goes

i understand starting is not a prob but can it be converted to manual choke?

they use to sell simple conversion kits
