I have an interesting situation with my current build.
Here goes been trying to get the solenoid and starter button to work ALL the time and have already burned up 2 solenoids.
I rebuild the starter button on the handle bars and at the solenoid it shows 12 volts to it for the starter when pushing the starter button, and even added an extra ground to the engine (6 gauge cable) going down to the lower engine bolt.
I also made a 6 gauge cable for the positive side for the solenoid and made a 6 gauge cable from the solenoid to the starter.
I buy my solenoids from ebay, (the $10.50 kind).
Are they to cheap for these wings and am I going to have put out some money and buy an OEM to get reliability? :head bang:

It sounds like your eBay ones may be of poor quality as you can't really burn out the solenoids unless you are shorting them to ground.
