83GL1100. When I start the bike using the choke it runs very rough for a few seconds and then idles up to about 3000 rpms. I start to ease off on the choke and it will slow down and go dead if I do not give it more choke.Eventualy as it warms up I can get it to idle at a very low rpm around 600...

My rear valve stem is wanting to leak.I angled steel stems to replace front and rear.Has any one replaced the stems by letting the air out and break the bead to change the stem? Then air the tire up?I have read on another site where they did but don't know if it would work on the Goldwing...

I have progressive air shocks on my bike.Can I run 0 press. in these shocks without damaging them.I am trying to get the bike a little lower. Ron

I have the common problem with the shifter seal leaking.What will have to be removed to get to the seal.Taht is besides the crash bar I guess and the shift arm.I hope not the exhaust.How do you pull the old seal out. :Awe:

I don't know if this is a proper way to measure tire width but when I measure the tred from side wall to side wall on the 140/90/16 on my Vulcan and on my Goldwing there is 3/8''difference in width.With the Goldwing being that much wider.Wing is a Dunlop 404 and Vulcan is a Met ME880.I think...
