Nothing major......changed out a burnt-out headlight bulb. You think they could have made it a LITTLE easier to get at, instead of burying everything the way they did. But it's done, and works, so I guess I'm not totally incompetent. :smilie_happy:

Yeah, he cost us a lot over the winter. Wife took her bike in to him and said 'it won't start'......and when that is fixed, needs a new chain and sprocket, etc etc etc. Guess what.....he fixed everything BUT the original problem.....nice to have a shiny new chain and sprocket, fresh oil, etc...

Thanks Slab....i'm sure that between all the members here, you've seen pretty much everything that can happen to a 'Wing. Wish I'd come here instead of trusting my baby to a certain 'mechanic' over the winter. To say he butchered her would be kind.....and unfortunately the only bike shops...

New member here, riding an '83 Goldwing Interstate named 'The Pig'. I've had her for about 4 yrs now......been a challenge at times keeping her running, but hopefully with the help of some of the gearheads here, I'll be able to continue for another few years without buying a new(er) one.
