Good evening everyone,
I am coming down to the wire on gathering everything I need to do my conversion. What I would like to know from y'all is what length are your bottom alternator brackets? Once I get an idea of how long to make it I can cut it shape it and get it out to powder coat along with the extra set of modified covers. Since I only have limited access to a garage, I won't have the opportunity to dilly dally around fabricating everything once it is all apart. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

John

It's hard to answer that question since every installation is pretty much custom fitted with varying methods. I'd get everything mounted up with the alternator installed with brackets all finalized before painting since you might end up either having to weld something or change something all together. Once all working and smoothed how you like then tear it down for paint.
