After almost 6 months off, I'm finally getting back on my project. Spring weather is here and I'm ready to ride. I purchased a new 34 pict-3 last fall. I'm planning on installing it but wanted to check on something first. Should I go ahead and plug the hole in the butterfly before installing or jut put it on now and try get the bike started and deal with that later if I have issues? What are the general thoughts of the group?

If memory serves most have left the hole. Brian and a few others have posted their final jetting on these carbs.

I never plugged it either. The only thing I did to my carb was move the tube a little so that fuel does not dump directly down the throat of the carb.
