Alright I pretty much have the plan created for what goes where, what gets plugged and whatnot on my Weber 5740 (AKA 32dft) But I ran in to one thing I can't figure out. So in this picture there is a larger nipple on the middle right side. Its below the fuel inlet. I can't figure out what it is. I think it might be a bowl overflow release, but honestly not sure.

If its the bowl overflow should I cap it, or run a length of fuel hose from it to the bottom of the bike (so fuel would be dumped on ground instead of on heads. Or.....

Pretty sure that's the vacuum line to a power brake cylinder. Should be someone who knows for sure along soon.

My carb had the same thing. It is a port into the bowl vent system. My guess is that it was for recycling fuel vapor from a gas tank or some other emissions related piece back into the carb. I pulled out the pipe and filled the hole with JB Weld.
