Not a bad price, but will take a few sheckles to get it back on the road. It's an '85 Limited Edition not an '86 Special Edition Injected (SEi). Lots of chrome and additional lights - can see some chrome parts showing up for sale. Not running, best would be a $1000.00 CDN (approximately $700.00 USD). Bike is 33 years old. Agree with D-50Dave.

What's the difference between the Limited Edition and the Special Edition?

The Limited Edition was the 1985 fuel injected model - 10th anniversary edition and was a complete redesign from the carb models.

The 1986 Special Edition injected (couldn't call it a Limited Edition so Honda mentions) is virtually the same. It came with the mod for the vapour lock that was experienced on the '85, and it had the mod for the rear wheel bearing as well. Other than these two much the same fuel injected bike. It did come to market a few dollars cheaper.

The '85 was sold North America wide with a few outside the country. It had a CDN and US version because of the difference in Kms and MPH, but the system allowed for changing to either. The system would revert to the country of sale; ie in Canada you could change to MPH for the speed but when stopped and restarted would default to Kms. Same for the US model.

The '86 SEi was only sold in the US.

Lots more but these are some of the differences. Have a read: https://world.honda.com/GoldWing/engineer-talk/part1-1/ The 1200 was a total redesign for the North American market specifically.

Cheers
