Can anyone suggest a good cleaner that they have used to get aluminum parts bright? I have used a combination of bartenders friend and white vinegar to clean forks. just trying to get them brighter. Thanks. Brian. I have removed a lot of oxidation using this process.

Honda clear coat must be removed and that stuff is tough. After that Mothers Mag polish, or similar products will shine them up nicely. NevR Dull works well to keep the shine going.

As Slab said probably just the clear coat..if your trying to brighten aluminum there is aluminum jelly but it wont brighten if clear is on the forks and why bother with the jelly if you are intending to polish....the stuff is pretty handy for other aluminum parts or a screen door frame.
