I was on Ebay searching for various items when I came across this item by accident. These are plastic replacement pins that you glue back into your side covers if they break off. I am not sure how well they work, but I have a good cover with one broken pin. I might just order a set and try it out!

You can abs glue then in.. after 24 hours they will dry solid.. but give them the time to fully cure.. you can cross drill them to add some points for the glue to grip the post also.. I used and to repair the lugs on my gl1200 cover.. I had the old piece.. and the design left a 3/4 sided hollow.. added a spring clothes pin cut down too add strength..

I saw those when I was trying to fix the covers on Trailer Trash, one pin missing on each cover. I bought some 2" x 4" Industrial strength black velcro at wallyworld, 4.00 dollars. I'm cheap. LoL
