Getting the Board set up properly with the dozens of permission settings that have to be gone thru and verified can be a real pain.

Post here if your having any log in problems like errors, get logged out, have to log in every time, problems uploading pics, etc. so I can look into the problem.

Alot of the problems can be fixed easily after reading this how-to, if your still having problems then give me a shout.

Dan

Dan,

I have to log in each time I come back. I keep checking the "keep me logged in" box, but it doesn't seem to want to work for me.

I just logged on, and had to put in the name and password again. Is there anything I need to do on my end? I've been checking the box also each time.

Try deleting all cookies in your browser.

You could also try "deleting all board cookies". Click on the banner to go to the main start page, scroll down to just under the forum topics. Right there there's a link to delete board cookies.

Let me know which worked for you and if not so I we can pass it on to others.

Otay...this morning when I got here, I couldn't log in. :sensored:
I would log in, it would go to the "You have successfully logged in" page, and it would show my username as logged in in the upper left of the page. When I click on the "View active topics" text, it would go to the active topics page, but then it would show me logged out, and only have 3-4 topics active. I tried logging back in several times, did the "Delete Board Cookies" deal.....nuttin.
I finally went to the "Tools" button on my browser(Firefox), went to Options, Privacy, then Delete individual cookies, and cleared all of the classicgoldwing cookies. That got me back in. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
I see this same problem sometimes on my C3VR site, too, but this is the first time it's ever happened to me here. It'll take a little time to work out all the kinks, but it will definitely be worth it! :salute:

Logging in is no longer a problem, but I noticed that there are no email notifications when a topic has a post added. :laptop:

SCRATCH THAT!! IT WAS MY FAULT! I WAS NOT CHECKING OFF TO BE NOTIFIED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST. :head bang:

Yesterday I was making a change to the accounts to change your default notification but got distracted.

The way it should work from now on is if you post in a thread, someone elses or your own, you will get an email notification without having to "check" anything. It's all automatic.

One thing I just found out is if you log in but then get logged right back out, "clearing" or "resetting" the cache in your browser will fix that problem.
