Having been on a Wing since about 1999 (and a 1978 CB750K before that), I've enjoyed and appreciated the discussions here. After almost 160,000 km I retired my 1981 GL1100 and am now using it for parts for a 1980...
Keep the shiny side up!

Welcome! Why retire the '81 so soon?
Well, the head gasket went, and I wasn’t sure it was worth pulling the heads off again since the steering head and forks were wearing out. After I got the ‘80 and started swapping rear tires and shocks, I discovered the hub was also wearing out... basically the machine was worn out and would have needed a total rebuild. I just don’t have time...
