How hot is "Too hot to ride"? It were 108 here yesterday, gunna be even hotter today. Ride home yesterday was brutal. :heat: :heat: :heat:
I use a personal water mister when it gets this hot, plus one of those cooling neck thingys. Biggest issue is the hand levers, and the heat from the radiators....whew! So...how hot does it have to be for yous guys to take the cages(with A/C) to/from werk?

hmmmmm there is that point of... are you tough enough today to ride ...getting caught in any stop and go traffic is brutal on many days ...nice backroad riding will keep in in the saddle most any day

Well since I don't commute to anything, I cheat. Today rode about 80 miles out and ate B-fast. Left about 6AM, temp to start 86F, once cleared the heat island it dropped to 77F, nice. Return was about the same mileage, different roads, return temp 96F, that's warm enough for one day :)

For commuting? 98 degrees plus the humidity over here in NJ will put me in a car. I'm kinda lucky in that even though I work for a large engineering and manufacturing firm, I am a remote employee that only has to head down my hallway to my home office!

I hate to say it, but you guys are a bunch of p**s***s.

But all kidding aside, after 95 or so, I don’t ride unless I’m making a beeline to the mountains or some very far northerly destination. Towards the middle or end of September, we start to get more humane weather around here. Right now, I seriously question my sanity for living here. Humans aren’t made for this scheidt.

This is the first year I'm taking the cager daily. I've ridden to work only twice in the last three weeks. Which is stunning for me because I'm lazy, and this involves me driving BACK to work hours later to pick up the wife. So yeah... feeling older as I do this, but doing it comfortably at a constant 68F, blower set to full.
