KYWinger's '83 Aspencade

Sadly, I just do not have the time anymore to fix the motor. As some of you know, the valve keepers on #3 cylinder let go and put a hole in #3 piston. So I'm offering it to you all first; before I post anywhere else.

1983 GL1100 Aspencade-45K miles. It's been in the family from the day it was bought locally and always garaged.

When I got it, I did the following:
Carbs rebuilt by Pistol Pete using Randak's Maser Kit
New Metzler ME880's front and rear
New:timing belts, radiator hoses, radiator cap, fuel cap
All calipers rebuilt and new EBC pads
All disc turned by truDisc
New braided S/S brake lines
Utopia backrest
New braided S/S gas lines and filter
CBR coil mod w/new plug wires, caps, plugs
Trailer hitch installed w/Hopkins isolating converter
SpeedMetal HID headlight conversion
WOLO Bad Boy horn w/relay
LED driving lights
GL1800 windshield vent
LED side markers
LED brake lights
Polished: fork lowers, valve covers, belt covers, carb tubes, carb tops
12V outlet on dash
Digital thermometer on dash
trunk rack installed
Dual charging port installed in trunk
Chrome disc covers
Highway pegs

I think that $1500 will get you a WHOLE bunch of new parts and a bike that needs the time I can't give it any more
I can deliver within a reasonable distance. I really hate to sell it, but my commitments need my time more.

Yeah, Lol. 1 less car in the garage= more space for toys :smilie_happy:

Be almost worth the trip to bring one of my spare pistons and a head and spend a weekend fixing that engine for ya John!
