I bought a '79 GL 1000 two weeks ago, because my wife loves bikes and has never had one. I haven't ridden for 25 years, but my dream bike has always been the GL 1000 ...

But when I go to buy the bike, I find out it actually runs and is pretty clean with has roached out chrome. So jokingly I tell my wife that I'm going to make her a set of training wheels so she can ride one of the Wings.
Then I find out that there are actually DIY kits for adding outboard wheels for your motorcycle! (i.e. training wheels)

Does this mean another parts bike? And the beginning of an obsession?
