Good Lawd my skills got rusty, missing shifts like 2nd, 2nd! oh and really wide turns. I go from same lane to same lane when turning, this morning on a right turn my front wheel crossed over the LEFT divider line of the center lane. It got only slightly better on my way home, missed 2nd only once.

Know what you mean. I rode the GL1800 to work Monday. Whew! Hot and HUMID here. I'd like to ride ~200 miles tomorrow afternoon/evening to see my cousin perform in Kentucky. Might have to drive!

I hate weather like this. It's almost too nice, which makes it not nice. Let's hope for some milder weather in the second half of the Summer!

:heat: It's so hot here the crackheads are putting the copper BACK in the A/C units..... :heat:

Did about 200 miles on the 1800 yesterday. I put a microfiber towel soaked in water around my neck, zipped up the mesh jacket over it, and kept my gloves wet from my water bottle. Pretty comfortable even with 92 degree air temps in the rain forests of East Tennessee. Any warmer and I would have worn long-sleeved microfiber shirt (mine are Starter and Champion knock-offs of Under Armor) and saturated it. It does require a stop about every 25 miles to re-wet. I stay ATGATT, because sliding on asphalt is MUCH hotter!
