I am looking for the rear light assembly that runs from side to side on lower rear of trunk. with the amber turn signals for a GL1500. Mine is cracked on one corner and looking for a really nice light bar.

My first post here. Finished the maintenance on my new to me 1100. Installed a better exhaust system. (mine was rotted) Went out for a nice Sunday afternoon ride. I am fighting a little stomach bug or flu. But still managed a 60 mile ride on my 1980. Nice little ride.

I saw this posted. I hope I can get down there. It sounds like a great time. I ask about motels. This old body is not built for tents anymore.

I got the exhaust off the bike. Turned out to be more than minor repair. The right pipe is junk. Looked around several places could not find one I wanted. I found a parts bike about 100 miles from me. Exhaust in great shape. My bike is now up and running. Had a nice ride on it yesterday...

I like the sound of this. It about 150 miles for me. and the new to me 1980 should be in fine shape by then. If you could give some motel info that would be great.

Bike has only a little exhaust leak. That should be taken care of this weekend. I need to get a pic and post it of bike sitting beside my new 2014 in the garage. Sure makes a pretty picture to me. The bikes have made lots of changes. But I still think the early models are GREAT!!

This is my new to me Gl1100. Just purchased last week. 1 owner 25,000 mile standard with Vetter equipment. Needs a few liitle things but I rode it home and smiled all 50 miles of the trip.

Thanks I really like it. Picked it up last weekend. It just had new battery, tires, and timing belts installed. Plastic is all good. only issue is right exhaust has bad spot. I will get that fixed soon. I enjoy riding these bikes.
