getting ready to do a big service on my 88. are the head bearings tapered roller? it looks like they are on microfiche. saw steves how to on a 92. not sure if this is the right place to ask but i gave it a shot.

i am looking for tires for my 88' i hear that bias e3's are the way to go. had metzler 880's separate on my vtx. put pirelli night dragons on it and they are ok. just never been a pirelli fan
