    don t know model as i went with dimensions and found one that fitted in the space same thing with the alt went to shop and asked for one that fits in the space i think it was of a deatsu van

    Thanks don t know about the dipstick as it was on the bike when i got it and yes you can just move the bottom of the rad but you need to bend the top mountings forward a bit for the bolts to line up again

    conversion turned out great here are a few of the pics the hardest part was moving the rad and finding that the original fan wont fit so got one from an old Kawasaki that is thinner Ref the side panel i heated it up with a heat gun and pushed out till it fitted as for the end result it now...

    just done the checks and at idle it's now giving me 14.5 v instead of 0 much better engine power output at low rev s is also better as the engine is now getting more volts at low rev's when setting off

    :music2: alt do charge but stators don t charge under 2000 rev s hence the conversion

    To answer that we do alot of local village parades and its all slow riding and a few light parades the last one i did we only rode 14 miles at slow speed and the batt was nearly flat so this conversion should do the job at this time its almost finished just the charging to check

    hi great pics I have also done this conversion on my 82 gl1100 aspencade my question is with the wiring do you have to disconnect the stator and rectifier if so which wires do you cut or can you just cut the 3 wirer's from the stator your help with this will be most welcome
