Rode the 05 on a PGR mission. Tomorrow back to the issues with the 83. :moped:

Starter had a broken connection inside. Works fine now. Still dealing with the miss under acceleration. Probably will have to do the carbs at some point. :head bang: :help:

Today - rebuild the starter. Hot in the garage but it's better than cold!

No one who rides a MC would ever say such a stupid thing as "We need the rain". :Doh2:

The brightness of the original headlight makes it hard to see at night anyway! :yahoo: Actually I just put it on and haven't driven at night - I'll let you know how it is.

The white Mother Ship (2005 Wing) suggested that the "Dark Side" (1983 wing) get some shades. That's what I put on when I got home from work. :clapping:

I think CRS affects most of us as we advance in age. (Can't Remember S*it)

Does aft=automatic transmission fluid? What brand do you recommend and how much do you add? Still trying to get my 83 running better!

My sync gauges came in today. So tomorrow I'll try to sync the carbs and see if that solves the miss problem. I have my fingers crossed. :lazy:

Miss is still there. Guess carbs are next. :swoon:

Took the Mothership (2005 wing) in for safety recall yesterday. It passed with no problem. Changed fuel filter on the 83 wing. I'll go for a ride in a while and see if the miss is missing. One can only hope. :yes:
