    You could bypass the fuel pump by rigging up a temporary gravity feed for fuel and see how she runs.

    Ha! Funny. I actually named her "Could be a while" because of how I tend to work on projects, 2-4 hours at a time several weeks apart. "Hope" kinda fits too.

    Hey Guys, name is Mike. Picked up a running '79 GL1000 a few months ago and have been slowing working at figuring out everything it needs to get into riding shape, and will be changing a few things along the way. Hope to have her on the road soon.
