    Idel jet is plugged

    1980 1100 Interstate. Recent purchase and trying to restore. lolol Bike had set up for about 13 years. Ordered Randakk's carb kit. Cleaning included dis-assembly, less butterflys and boiling in distilled water. Everything went smooth until # 4 carb. I can't get anything to go through the idel...

    1980 Interstate barn bird project

    1980 1100 Interstate trying to restore. Ordered carb kit from Randakk's and was just finishing up. Somehow I LOST :head bang: (why-- I do not know) one of the small crossover tubes. If anyone can help with one or point me in right direction I would be grateful. :beg:

    Carb cleaning ??

    1980 1100 interstate restore project.. Have ordered and received Randakk's rebuild kit. Have all carbs off and dissembled. I saw where Randakk's recommended you boil them in distilled water and not use any chemical type cleaner. Was wondering if adding of soap or something to water would help...

    Seafoam use clarification

    80 1100 Interstate Want to try the seafoam route. I have drained all fuel bowls and removed what gas I could from fuel pump. Just bought a 12 oz can of Seafoam for fuel systems. How much should I try and put in via the fuel pump while cranking only? TKS All, Jim

    Which Tester

    Was checking on ordering a Sync gauge and carb adjusting tool. Which is the preferred type, gauge or manometer type? would think fluctuation would show less on manometer type. Then again I already have two vacuum gauges and I could just pick two more and get a set of tuner adapters. Tks Jim
