hello all just was wondering how all the alt conversions are holding up, mines doing great . been real quiet here lately so was just wondering.... ride safe Denis :fishin:

i always keep both motorcycles on slow charge if we don't ride much, have a yuasa charger and a jr tender. both r great and never give any problems. also use a 12 v solar charger on rv battery over winter.

ordered a new agm battery , hopefully it will be here sometime next week :rocks:

the wife and I went for a ride today, me on the wing and she on the 2006 shadow. we got to the next town over and her oil light came on, after shutting off the bike I checked the oil and all was fine. tried starting the bike up and nothing battery was stone cold dead.. I turned around and went...

hi Jerry, sorry to hear of your troubles with Stella, I was the one who mentioned about the belt having clearance, I have about 3/4 of an inch in front of the fan. Unfortunately that means that you will have to find a rad hose that will work (I found one at a local auto parts place). hopefully...

i use a yuasa battery charger for small batteries. i believe it charges at 1/2 amp i leave it on the lawn tractor all winter and a junior tender on the wifes honda shadow (baby is due sept so bikes been sitting since spring) :good:

:Egyptian: rode the wing to work last week a few days , mornings are a little cold, but riding has been great . home made conversion is still running strong. next project is to get air suspension to work. I hear getting compressor out is a pain in the butt, i think i just have to change dessicant.

update...... haven't been riding much ( too hotttttttt) but the old girl is still running strong. voltage is still around 14.5 1100 rpm..
