I took the forks apart and did not pay a lot of attention to this until I had the forks apart and the upper tube side by each. Did some further research and there is apparently only one oil lock and from what I have found, it is in the right fork leg - Virgilmobile over on GWDocs posted pictures of his 1500 front forks disassembled and still on the bike.
