Unfortunately John, I think you're the victim of a lot of bad circumstances. I admit I thought about it and added up a few numbers. $750 for the bike $300 in gas and two days driving to get it. (my truck doesn't get very good gas mileage pulling the trailer) $300 more or less for a take a chance engine (engine and getting it here). I have no interest in splitting the case and by the time you buy a head and gaskets, you're close to there anyway. I have seen it and it is for sure a pretty bike and has a lot of nice things going for it but it's tough for a buyer to get past the fact that it doesn't run and has a major, major issue. So your market is somebody that has the money, ability, place to do it, and desire to spend quite a bit of time right at the beginning of riding season to bring it back to life. Because all of us here love older Goldwings, I think sometimes we overestimate their value. With patience and cash in hand you can find some real values. I'm just guessing but I bet $15-1600 would buy this. I haven't seen it and I know sometimes pictures can be decieving but just saying, Example: https://madison.craigslist.org/mcy/4512273704.html Ok, let the arrows fly. Best of luck to you. Dave
