Trailer Hitch

I came across a bike for sale on Ebay and notice it is a Standard with a Hondaline fairing and the Hondaline trunk and bags like mine. But it also had a trailer hitch that is off the bike. I offered to buy it for what I could afford, but no deal. A closer look at it and I am not sure it this is a Honda part or homemade hitch.

Either way, it seem like it would be fairly easy to fabricate. Opinions?

Got one similar to it.. ball plate is larger.. think it may fit a road, Electra, super, wide glide...

I don't think honda recommends towing with a wing so its not likely a Honda part

Break out the welder and the grinder and have at it. I had one tack weldeded together from 7/8" tube ready finish before I bought the Interstate rear end that came complete with a hitch. Even tach welded it pulled my trailer around.
