Very nice ride! My dad was friends with one of our local mechanics that ran his shop out of his garage. He had a '76 Ltd that he rarely road. He also bought the 1st CBX in our town, that thing was a monster! Btw, his daily driver was a '72 750four with a side car. When he passed, someone got some sweet rides!
 
Sounds like it, I just wish it was easier to find good mechanics in my area that will work on the older bikes

I have 3 things to say about the 1976 GL1000LTD.
They are Yum Yum and Yum. :)
I have been dreaming about one for years, but I think this year is my year to get one.
 
As soon as I finish putting it back together I will post pics. I'm gonna have to replace the starter soon as it's giving me issues

Nope, she runs like a scalded dog. Leaks fuel around the carbs if I don't shut off the fuel at night. But she runs good
