Thanks, I know how to adjust the carbs but the problem is that the adjustment screw on #1 is not working. It will turn in/out but has no effect. Jeff, would you happen to know the size of the feeler gauge? I thought about using a feeler gauge but just wasn't sure of what size.

Well, I guess I'll have to take em out. The hard part for me is getting them out, the harder part is diagnosing the problem, the hardest part is getting them back in, (connecting the throttle cables) . The bike is still running strong enough for now so I'll probably do it in the winter. Thanks...

Hi, I have discovered a problem with my #1 carb. It is opening when I open the throttle but when I try to adjust it, it doesn't do anything. I could turn the adjustment screw either way and it doesn't respond. I know I will probably have to remove the carbs to figure this out. Has anyone else...

I found on Goldwing docs others are talking about this same issue. I found a part number for the spacer( 42312-mb9-000 and it applies only to 82 & 83 so as surprising as that may be, what I have is 100% correct. No spacer between the swingarm and caliper bracket. Hooray!

That sums it up. The 1980 model didn't have an outer spacer. The part does not exist. I have all of the parts that are shown in the diagram. Sorry to make a big deal out this but I just wanted to be sure. Some say it's supposed to have a spacer, but I think that was on later models. Thanks for...
