1000 mag wheel options

i've mostly only seen the lester option for early spoked wheel wings

dunno how many aftermarket wheel options there may have been, but there is at least one other

i'm pretty sure that early wing comstars can be modded to earlier spoked variants

however, this is a bit new for me and opens up many more options, going with the cx-gl series wheels, i think that then also means possible magna, sabre wheel options

dunno what the story is with the rear cx series drum braked wheels, whether they can be used, or not

also not sure if the cxturbo rear wheel was disc or drum, if drum, that'd be good news

The cx standards were drum and don't think the drum could be converted... the v45 rear is a drum iirc... but the fronts were 18's iirc.. I have a front in my shed need to check that...... the magna rims are solid spokes not comstar mags.....

ive done the front wheel before and would have done the back too ...as with a lot of things this for yrs was always touted as not possible .. till ones with determination just did it anyways ...so much cant in the oldwing world ...

im considering 18" or a 16" spoke wheel on the 77 hooch 1200 build .....but this is all just in the head as I have no funds for this ....but im looking to change all the handling character of the oldwing with much wider tires for my backwoods roads around me where I live
