the ones off my junk 78 fit thank goodness.
 
I have a hunch that '82's will fit an '83.. This is because my '83 aspencade pegs are different than my '83 interstate pegs, which I bought on ebay to replace the floorboards I took off.
We should get someone else to confirm this. Floorboards were in the way for me too, and shifting with a heel/toe setup kept making me think twice.

my old 78 pegs worked great.Plus the shifter arm did not have to be changed

I believe that 83 Aspencade and Interstate pegs are the same. They are the elongated pegs as opposed to the round ones of previous years.

I'm not doubting the same pegs for both, but I have round pegs on one and elongated pegs on the other. Maybe they are off a '78 also. They fit properly so we know there is more than one answer.
