These look pretty good.

But these come with a free fork clamp, and you really need one of those.

Dang!, the one with the clamp is a deal..People pay that much for just the clamp.
Another thing that has worked for me in the past when parts were not redily available was to use some fine emery cloth or crocus cloth on the affecting pits to flatten the\ edges of the pitout then clean the pit out as best you can and dab some JB weld in the pits then after it dries sand them flush, you want to use just a dab because you will spend much time sanding the JB weld down, supprisingly this works well but nothing is better then new or good used tubes.

I purchased the first pair, not received yet. I will have a spare that is perfect by the way.

Well i got them and they were much better than expected. Fact i may just polish sliders and install them as is. Guy did an awsome packing job by the way.

I have one completely rebuilt fork with new upper tube and one older fork with some pitting at the top and they will be available for something reasonable. They are painted black.

Great that you found what you needed, pleased that I could help.

You may want to look into throwing some progressive springs into them before you mount them.

I have heard that that's a really good idea, not done it myself yet but maybe one day it'll be on the list.

Well, since I put the thought in my head, and for the last 10 years I have been fighting the 4 miles between the big ass Shepherd curve (as it is known locally) and the 610 loop on I45 in Houston as being the bumpiest piece of HOV lane in existence.

I've just spent the last 45 minutes checking into progressive front fork springs. Lot of options out there!

Where did you guys get yours? is there a place to go for them? Or anything particular to look out for?
