I think my seat may be aftermarket,as you can see,the tab thing does not fit under the bracket.should it?it does sit nice on top of it though.thanks

I'm thinking it should go under. Maybe warped a little from age. I know cause the wife says that's what's wrong with me. :headscratch:

The seat on my '82 Standard does not look like that at all, and it does slide under quite nicely. Guessing my seat is stock, since it says "Honda" on the back and looks like the stock seat.

I put washers under the tab that holds it in place. It raised the rails so the tab would fit.
