Now to take it to Phoenix and Mesa, AZ for a test by fire..... it red-lined on both trips to NM.
Susie, are you saying that it has redlined since the repair?

No, it hasn't red lined since the repair... Phoenix and Mesa, AZ would be my way of a final test.
Since it didn't overheat in stop and go freeway traffic here (CA), it should be good there. It is an excuse for taking another trip east....
Soooo......some time has past! Did the repair hold up? Ever run hot again?

The 1200 has gotten warm but hasn't red-lined since Dan did his magic with it. I am the one with the red-line problem now. Can't travel more than one day in this miserable heat we have been having. Took it out this weekend in the heat and was stuck in the 101 and 405 parking lot, the gauge read 3/4 hot but didn't red-line.
