I am new here, but old to Goldwings. My first was a 1983 GL1100 Interstate back in 1984. Since then, I have had 1 - 1984 GL1200 Aspencade, 1 - 1984 GL1200 Interstate, and 1 - 1982 GL1100 Standard. New Years weekend, I picked up my current 1987 GL1200i (One owner w/25,000 original documented miles). Also currently own a 2005 VTX1300S.

I am a young 61 and have been riding since I was 13.

Other bikes I have owned - 1972 CB550-4, 1976 Elsinore 250, 1981 CB900 Custom. First scooter was an Otasco scooter that had a 5HP Continental engine and a centrifugal clutch (It would outrun a Cushman the first two blocks!).

I enjoy traveling, having now visited all 50 states.

I also enjoy researching Goldwings on the Internet at forums such as this one. You will find me on several other Goldwing forums, RV forums, and Dodge Cummins diesel forums.

Rock42 - Spent the night in Waco before I picked up the Wing u see in my avatar. The pic is from the Walmart parking lot in Rockdale where I took delivery. Went on down to Austin from there to visit my little sister and grab some BBQ from Rudy's.

....and back in 1984, I thought I was the King of the Road with that GL1100 too!

It looked a lot like this one only with cleaner exhaust.
