hi my name is frank my ride is a 1982 honda goldwing GL1100 aspencade I traded a suzuki savage 650 one cylinder for this bike because the guy thought you have to remove the engine from the frame to replace the then bad starter glad to meet to everyone any other members in southeastern ky?

Wecome to the site - feel bad for the guy - he was almost right when he said you have to remove the engine (But its a Stator not a starter)

Ask Chas - it only takes 5 months to remove a starter (or was that to install one) :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

Yep, took Chas over 5 months to get his starter in.
